The DIIC is an incubator established in 2023 by the National
Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations (NIDHI)
of the Department of Science & Technology (DST). It is a
joint venture between Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal
Sciences University (GADVASU) and the DST, aimed at
fostering startups in the livestock business, technology,
education, and healthcare domains.
The main objectives of DIIC are:
To nurture innovative startups in the livestock, dairy, and
fisheries sectors.
To provide support in technology, education, and healthcare
related to these domains.
To drive sustainable growth and address challenges in
India’s agricultural landscape.
DIIC is located at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal
Sciences University, Ludhiana, Punjab, India.
